At the beginning of the year 1992 KABIR AHMED BHUIYAN and MD SAIFUL ISLAM planned to setup a complete well-equipped Hospital. To implement their plan, suggestions were taken from the owners of some reputed Hospitals, eminent doctors of our country. Kabir Ahmed Bhuiyan visited different Hospitals of Singapore, Bangkok, Malaysia, India and observed their facilities, system, standard of services etc. on the bases of all suggestions and observations decision was taken to set-up a modern Hospital in Dhaka City where complete range of Diagnostic facilities as well as treatment will be provided under one roof. Thus COMFORT DIAGNOSTIC CENTRE (PVT.) LTD. and COMFORT NURSING HOME (PVT.) LTD. came into operation at the beginning of the year 1993. Initially these started their operation at a rented building situated in Dhanmondi, Road No. 06, Dhaka within very short period of the holy inauguration, these two organizations occupied a unique position in the mind of the people as well as doctors of our country for their appropriate and better services.

Full co-operation and participation from the doctors and people, dedication of the doctors, staffs, nurses, technicians including all other supporting members of these two institutions made them popular as an ideal place for investigations and treatments. Due to rapid expansion of services and increasing patients, it was not possible to accommodate everything in the rented building. For this reason the authority felt need to establish their own building. Later a piece of land was purchased at the prime location of Dhaka city and constructed an eleven-storied Hospital building. On 3rd October 1999 both the organizations were shifted to newly built Hospital complex along with newly procured many other world class medical equipments required for running a modern Diagnostic Centre and Hospital. It was the only complete medical institute in private sector in Bangladesh at that time where all kinds of Diagnostic facilities and treatment facilities were available at one place.
